Upcoming DEHRC Club Events

January 2012 Active member pheasant tower shoot. This is free for members who worked in two of the four yearly hunt tests and field trials. For non-active members the cost is $100.00.

For those that may not be able to meet and eat or be at the restaurant by the time we leave at 11:30, there is an address: 1273 Loyd Harrison Rd, Snow Hill NC 28580. This will get you to the home of the Preserve owner and someone will meet you there at 11:45 and lead you to the field.

The actual shoot begins at approximately 12:45. We will take a drink / snack break about mid point and the shoot should be over around 4:00.

Number 4, 5 or 6 shot is recommended. Some of us used our retrievers to pick-up birds for a group this past Saturday. There were a few of the shooters using a lighter load (7.5 & 8) which proved to be a little unsuccessful.

Please remember, you must be wearing an article of clothing bearing boldly the hunter safety orange if you are in the field----observing or shooting.

DEHRC holds our Training Day/Club Test on the third Saturday of each month at 8am at the location noted at the Club meeting or posted on the club web site.
